Lavu POS with Verifone

This article will take you through the process for using the Verifone e285 reader with your Lavu POS.

Lavu POS Integration with Verifone

Lavu POS is newly equipped with the latest payment gateway partnering with Verifone.

If you have chosen to partner with Lavu and this new gateway, the Lavu Onboarding team will ensure your company account is integrated and configured for this setup.

Below is an example of an account after enabling the Verifone payment gateway.

After completing the scan, the POS will display any available readers. Select the reader you want to connect to in order to complete the pairing process.

  • Using the IP Address

A faster method to connect to your Verifone reader is through its IP address. Before that, you should learn the IP address of the card reader. There are two ways to get the Verifone card reader’s IP address.

  1. Turn the reader off and back on, and read the IP address during the bootup process.
  2. Find the IP address under network settings.

Follow the below steps to identify the IP address from the Verifone card reader.

Press the numbers 1, 5 & 9 together on the Verifone card reader to open the settings screen.

Once the settings screen gets open, tap on “Com Control.”
