Section 4.7: Lavu ToGo (Beta)

 

Lavu ToGo is the online ordering solution that sends orders directly to the Lavu POS App. Staff members logged into Lavu POS will see Lavu ToGo orders in the Open Orders Tab and can send those orders to the kitchen.

In Lavu ToGo, the following settings can be defined:

 

  • Enable Lavu ToGo

  • Unique URL for Lavu ToGo

  • Start / End Time for Lavu ToGo orders

  • Advanced Ordering

  • Payment Options and Optional Modifiers
  • Alert Contact Information

 

Credit Card Integration MUST be Enabled for online payments

Lavu ToGO will not work with Lavu Local Server at this time

 

ENABLE LAVU TOGO AND OPTIONAL MODIFIERS:

 

1. Enable Lavu ToGo

UNIQUE URL:

1. Enter a Unique URL for customers to access via manual entry or a location’s existing website

To embed Lavu ToGo into an existing website, copy and paste the generated code into the website

START / END TIME FOR LAVU TOGO ORDERS:

1. Select the Lavu ToGo Start Time using the drop-down menus

2. Select the Lavu ToGo End Time using the drop-down menus

ADVANCE ORDERING:

1. Select the Number of days to allow orders in advance from the drop-down menu

2. Select the Minimum time for order notice from the drop-down menu

PAYMENT METHODS AND OPTIONAL MODIFIERS

1. Enable Use Optional Modifiers. When Enabled, this setting will allow customer’s ordering online to utilize the same Optional Modifiers as servers on location

2. Select one of the following Payment Options from the drop-down menu:

  • Prepay - credit card integration required
  • Pay Upon Receipt - credit card integration not required
  • Prepay or Pay Upon Receipt - credit card integration required

ORDER ALERT CONTACT INFORMATION:

1. Enable or Disable Enable in-app order polling.

  • Enabled - When Lavu ToGo orders are placed an in-app notification will appear on the screen. This setting helps to streamline the process of sending Lavu ToGo orders to the Kitchen
  • Disabled - No notification will appear

2. Select Cell phone carrier for order alert text messages from the drop-down menu

3. Enter a Phone Number in the text field

NOTE: Once all changes have been made, click Submit

5. Configure the Lavu ToGo Customer Settings:

Customer Delivery Option:

This dictates whether a customer can choose "Delivery or Pick-Up" or "Pick-Up" only when ordering online.

Customer Payment Options:

Choose whether a customer placing an online order must pay in advance, upon receipt of the order, or either.

 In order for the changes to take effect in the Lavu POS App be sure to Reload Settings on all devices.
