KDS Lavu Troubleshooting

If the KDS Lavu is failing to receive orders from the Lavu POS you may need to reset the connection between the two. To do this, please follow the instructions listed below:

  1. If using KDS Lavu 2.0+, Log out.
  2. Force Quit the KDS Lavu App
  3. Force Quit the Lavu POS App
  4. Uninstall and Reinstall the KDS Lavu App
  5. Restart the KDS Lavu App
  6. Restart the Lavu POS App
  7. Start a brand new order and send it to the kitchen

If you are still unable to receive orders check to make sure both iPads are on the correct Wi-Fi network.

You will also need to ensure the iPad running KDS Lavu is set up correctly.

Finally, make sure that the static IP Address of the iPad running KDS Lavu matches the IP Address entered in the Control Panel.

If you are still unable to receive orders, please contact your Lavu Reseller or Lavu Support.
