What is offline mode? 

Put simply, it’s the ability to process credit card transactions if your internet, POS, or processor goes down.

How does it work? 

Sign up for Lavu Pay. Enable offline mode for your account. Whenever you experience a disruption, our app automatically requests to switch to offline mode. Process transactions as usual. Lavu will automatically resume normal operations when the disruption is resolved.

What do I need to get started? 

  1. You need LavuPay, as offline mode is currently only supported for our in-house processing option. 
  2. Regardless of the type of reader you use for normal transactions, you will need a Card Connect encrypted iDynamo reader to process offline transactions.
  3. Finally, you will need to enable the option on your account.

That’s it. With three simple steps, you can protect your business from service disruptions.
