      Customize the Sign and Tip Screen

      A short article showing you how to use the Quick Tips page in the Control Panel to customize the tip suggestions on the iPad.

      Lavu allows you to have customers sign and leave tips through the iPad screen at the time of sale.

      You are able to customize this screen in your Lavu Control Panel through the Quicktip Buttons page.

      Note: If your page does not look like this, reach out to our customer support team to have this feature enabled on your account.

      Here you can set the percentage or amount of a tip suggestion, the order and placement of each button, and which buttons are hidden. So if you don't want to offer a custom tip option, or you only want to have 2 suggestions you can check the box under "Do Not Display".

      When entering percentages, be sure to enter the number in decimal format like in the example below.

      To rearrange the order of your buttons, click and drag the arrow icon on the left hand side to the position you want. The option at the top will be placed on the far left side of the tip screen.

      Note: When you use the Amount setting for your tip suggestions, percentages will still be displayed on the iPad (see the example above).
