Lavu Reports - The Action Log
Lavu's Action Log
The Action Log report shows all frontend activity including when orders are opened/closed, when cash drawers are opened, when employees clock in and out, and much more.
There are two versions of the Action Log available in the Control Panel. To view the most recent version of the Action Log, start by logging into the Control Panel (cp.poslavu.com). On the side navigation panel, click Reports, and then click Labor.
The Action Log will be one of two reports available in this section.
By default, you will see all of the actions, and the number of times they were conducted for the current day. You can use the filters at the top to change your default view. This can be helpful if you want to see specific actions of an employee, or from a specific iPad.
You can also use filters in the report itself to focus on a specific action or employee. For example, if you wanted to see which employees conducted refunds, you simply need to find the action "Refund Applied", click on the dropdown under the "Filter" column, and select Filter by User.
This will give you only the specific information you are looking for, about which employees conducted refunds. All other actions will be filtered out.
Version 1 Action Log
The other version of the Action Log is available in our V1 Reports. On the side navigation panel, click Reports, and then click V1 Reports.
Under the Activity Reports column, click Action Log.
1. When date range is set, reports will adjust accordingly.
2. All the information included in this report will be found in the first row.
Each line represents an order action. Each order ID will have more than one line designated to it. Category break down includes action, details, times, etc.
You can sort this report by any of the column headers, by clicking on the header.
Detailed order information is accessed by clicking on the order ID.
This version of the Action Log lacks all of the filtering options that are available in the newer version of the report.
Both versions of the Action Log can be exported to .txt files, .xls files, and .csv files.
