POS - Re-open and Re-Close Orders
You may need to re-open an order to reprint a lost kitchen ticket or to process a refund. This article will walk you through those processes.
Re-open Order
- Tap the menu button in the bottom left corner
- Tap Orders
- Tap Closed
- Find and tap the order you want to reopen
- Tap Reopen Order at the top of the screen
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
Re-Close Order from Order Details
Let's say you just re-opened an order to reprint the ticket. There is no need to go to the checkout screen. Simply use the Order Details module.
- Tap the Order ID, Table Number, or Tab Name at the top of the order pad
- Tap Close Order
- Tap the Confirm Close Order
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
Re-close Order from Checkout
A re-opened order will not automatically close out in the checkout screen when you hit zero balance due. You must manually re-close it.
- Tap the menu button in the bottom left corner
- Tap Functions
- Tap Checkout
- Tap Re-close
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
NOTE: The ability to re-open and re-close tickets can be restricted to admin users in the Advanced Location Settings of the Lavu Control Panel.
