POS - Tables Layout Overview
Tables is what we call the view in our app that allows you to associate orders to tables. You can build your entire restaurant in this view.
- Swipe or tap the arrows or the name of the room to navigate between rooms
- Tap on the table you are seating
- Select the items they are ordering
- Tap either:
- Send if you need to send the items to a kitchen printer OR
- Save if you just need to add the items to the order (e.g. You are adding drinks that you will pour and you do not need to print a kitchen ticket)
- Tap Tables at the top left of the screen to return to the Tables view
Different colors signify different statuses for an order on a table
Gray - Open table (no order)
Blue - There is an active order on the table
Green - The check has been printed on an active order (could mean that the table is about to become available)
Orange - Parts of the order (but no the whole order) have been sent to the kitchen. Only available if using Hold & Fire.
