A short article showing you how to create and use Revenue Centers to bolster your reports in the Lavu Control Panel.
Revenue Centers are a great addition to your Lavu reports that allow to compare sales from different areas of your restaurant. When Revenue Centers are set up, you will be able to compare the sales of orders started from the different service layouts in Lavu (Quick Serve, Tables, and Tabs) or even between individual tables in your restaurant.
Create Revenue Centers
Before we can assign Revenue Centers, they will first need to be created.
- Log into your Lavu POS Control Panel, and click on Settings on the left hand side.
- Click on Location.
- At the top of the screen, click on Revenue Centers.
To create new Revenue Centers, simply click on the green Add New button, and provide a name. Click Submit when you are done. Simply repeat this process for each Revenue Center you wish to create.
Set Default Revenue Centers
Once all of your Revenue Centers have been created, you can set defaults to your different service layouts. Simply select from your options in the dropdown menus. Your selections will save automatically.
Set Revenue Centers to Specific Tables
If you are exclusively using the Tables layout in your restaurant, you may wish to distinguish your Revenue Centers based on which tables your orders are started from.
To do this, click on Restaurant Layout along the left hand side to access your table map.
To set a Revenue Center to your table, simply select it and apply a Revenue Center from the dropdown menu in the top right corner.
Process Previous Orders
If you have been using Lavu for some time, and you just now decide to start using Revenue Centers, you have a one time option to process previous orders based on your settings. This will allow you to see historic data with your revenue centers retroactively applied.
From the Revenue Centers page, simply click on Apply next to "Apply to previous orders".
