A short article showing you how to customize the payment buttons on your checkout screen.
The Checkout Layout Editor, located in Location Settings, allows you to customize the payment buttons on your checkout screen on the POS.
From here you can move buttons around, add and remove payment methods, and even add custom payment options directly to your checkout screen.
To begin making changes, log into your Lavu Control Panel (cp.poslavu.com), and click on Settings, then Location on the left hand side. At the top of the screen, click on Checkout Layout Editor.
Click the green Edit button to begin making changes to your checkout screen.
The first step is to determine how many payment buttons you want to have on the checkout screen. You can have a maximum of 4 for each of the 2 rows, meaning you can have up to 8 buttons total.
Each row can be adjusted independently, so you can have 1 row with 2 buttons and the other with 4.
Next you need to click and drag the buttons from your options in A, to the checkout layout in B. This allows you to place your most commonly used payment buttons wherever you like on the checkout screen.
To access your custom payment options, click on the gray Payment Method button, and your custom options like gift card or check will appear.
Note: To add all of you custom payment options to the checkout screen, be sure to add the Other button. This is where your custom options will be if they are not added directly to the checkout screen.
When you are finished, click the green Save button in the top right corner.
Don't forget to reload settings on your POS to see your changes.
