Live Labor Report

The Live Labor report provides real-time information on labor costs so that owners and managers can manage their labor better. It offers real-time insights based on your Front of House and Back of House staff, specific job roles, and even individual employees. Managers will have access to this report at any time in order to directly compare employee payroll with the sales of the restaurant and make decisions accordingly.


Here is how to use the Live Labor Report. 


Tap the menu icon in the bottom left corner of the screen, and select Functions.

Tap on Manager Functions.

Tap on the Management Tools.

Finally, tap on the Live Labor Report icon. 

By default, the Live Labor Report shows you the totals for the current and previous days’ labor costs and percentages at the top, with more detailed information for the current day at the bottom.

If you would like to see the detailed view of the previous day, simply tap View Report on the right.

Within the detailed section of the report, you can switch between different filters including Front of House and Back of House (FOH/BOH), Employee Classes, and Individual Employees.

Below you can see that FOH/BOH is selected.

Here is the Live Labor Report filtered by Employee Class.

Finally, here is the Live Labor Report filtered by individual employees.

The Live Labor Reports can be printed and exported to a PDF format, using the Print button on the right hand side. The printed report will be printed from the receipt printer your iPad is connected to.

Important Note: To ensure accurate reporting in Live Labor, it is necessary to create at least one meal period. Follow the Meal Period article for more details.
