A short walkthrough article that details how your employees can self onboard into Lavu Payroll
Before Onboarding
Before your employee begins onboarding, ensure that they have relevant information including their social security number, information about how they will file taxes (W-4), and bank information for direct deposit.
They will also need to know their own username and password in the Lavu system. Usernames and passwords are set (and can be reset) in Workforce settings under Manage Users.
Employee Onboarding
Once your employee is logged in they should first verify that their contact information is accurate and up to date.
Once updated, your employee can select Payroll Onboard at the top of the screen.
They will be guided through a series of forms to fill out, including their bank account information and W-4.
Information should be filled out accurately so that there are no issues in receiving pay checks, or their W-2 in the first quarter of the new year.
Once onboarding is complete, your employee will the following screen.
